| Ape Media works closely with NEET organisations to provide tailored projects for disaffected youth, which have specific EET outcomes. Students are assessed on their Creative and Personal Development Progress, building up a quantitative and qualitative picture of overall individual performance. This information can be used by case workers to assess areas which might need extra work to help individuals into the EET cohort. | |

APE Media won two commendations from the London Open College Network accreditation Panel, one for the identification of the need for courses of this type in the area, and in east London in general, and secondly a commendation for the design of the courses, which enable the students to complete one, or all of the courses and make a concerted effort to be learner friendly in our approach and encouraging the progression of our students to full time education or to actively seek employment. |
Extra Extra: APE Media has already seen a number of past students gain work in major radio groups such as the BBC and GCap, and the feedback from these courses has always been extremely positive, with members of long standing pirate stations applying for places on the course to gain a more professional training standard. APE Media facilitates exciting and tangibly rewarding courses, giving real and valuable industry experience. Ape Media’s long-standing commitment to protecting the environment is integral to day-to-day commercial decision making. Initiatives that help minimise the company's impact on the environment include annually recycling all office stationary. |
